Sam & Zack – Wedding
I met the Mother and Father of the bride for this wedding in high school. The mother of the groom sat two seats away from me in most of my home room classes at Southern Huntingdon County High School. It is safe to say I knew a lot of people at this wedding. I am not sure if that made things easier or harder. Either way, I was happy and glad to be able to do some photography for Sam & Zack. I met Sam while she was in high school. I did senior pictures for her, which didn’t seem all that long ago. Time flies.
This wedding was held at Edgewater Acres, which is such a nice place for a wedding. It was a sunny morning with low humidity. By wedding time there were some clouds in the air but we couldn’t have ask for a better temperature. I was also the DJ for this event and dropped off my DJ equipment the night before.
As we finished setting up DJ stuff and started to move in to get some pics started, the bride arrived and I was able to catch her with are refreshment on her way in to her room. We set up to get pictures of the groomsmen and bridesmaids before the wedding. We took those photos in from of the Edgewater building and then moved around back.
The wedding was scheduled for 3:00 and went off with out much of a hitch. As you will be able to see later, maybe on my facebook photo page, there was a flower girl who I don’t think felt much like being in a wedding. No worries, she finally did her part.
After the wedding we took family photos with the bride and groom and then the bride and groom alone. We then made our way back to the barn and set up for music.
My wife took care of photos of the wedding party as I did the introductions and then the bride and groom had their first dance. Things went really smooth for this event. Sam had a wedding coordinator, who I heard was going to get into the business. From this event I would have to give her an +A. Good job Greta and girls.
It was a long day and I am sure I could fill in more details down the road, but is’s a Sunday night. The Steeler on on losing to the Patriots and after yesterday, it’s time for bed.
