Katelyn & Josh – Wedding
Katelyn on the back porch of the Spring House. In a few minutes she said I do!
The fear of rain was in the air for this wedding at the Spring House in Spring Run, PA and there may have been a sprinkle or two, but it turned out to be a beautiful evening.
As you will find in the majority of the posts about wedding on this page, I was NOT the main photographer for this event. Katelyn did ask me to take some photos and it was ok with her main photographer.
Because of the fear of rain the ceremony was held under a tent and I was supplying music for the ceremony so there are not as many photos of the actual wedding ceremony. In fact a lot of the events of the wedding were under the pavilion that is on the lower side of the barn at the Spring House. I was at a smaller pavilion that is below the main area.
I did talk with the bride before the actual wedding and her along with the bridesmaids were on the back porch of the house and gathered together for me to get a shot. After that I went out and got things ready. Things went smoothly and events moved quickly. Afterwards a group of kids danced until the sun started to go down. Afterwards more of the adults made their way down to the dance floor and as it got dark things really seemed to take off.
I ended up staying until midnight. A lot of the guests were able to stay and made a camping event of the weekend.
A giant thank you to Katelyn, her friends and family which I have known for many years. May years of blessing I wish for the new couple.
