Where’s a Cool Place to go?
I’ve known Lacey for a very long time. In fact, I was the DJ for her parents wedding. That kind of thing can sometimes make it harder to take the photos. Not because of anything other than thinking kids grow up way too fast. I mentioned this to Lacey when we started and yes she has grown up too fast.
Where to go to get pics? That’s a question that I hear a lot. Since this was something I was doing before my “real job”, I said let’s just say here and find something nice. It was pretty easy to find nice things. As soon as I got there I noticed some very nice landscaping. So off we went.
It was a very bight sunny morning so we tried to work with the shadows and make sure we had a lot of rich colors going on. The landscape I mentioned earlier was in the total shade which is sometimes easier so I moved to the sun which was about 10 o’clock in the sky.
I am grateful for the chance to take these pictures. It was fun and hopefully when there is more time we can do more.
I always hope and like to learn something when taking photos. This time I think it was that you don’t have to go to some super scenic location to get good photos. That using the light that is available and being able to add enough flash to make things pop.
I’ve posted some of the photos here and on my facebook page.
Thanks Lacey!
