Family Pictures – The Schroeder Family

The Schroeder Family Pictures

This was the second time I had a chance to take family pictures of the Schroder Family. Last time we were at Blair Park in Huntingdon. On that fall day the colors were amazing and the sun was perfectly placed in the sky. For this day we had bright sunshine and a cool temperature. Perfect again!

For this photo shoot we went to the campus of Juniata college. The mom of the family was soon to be a graduate and wanted a couple cap and gown picture. We took care of those right away and gave the kids a little time to run and burn off some energy. Little did I know they had a lot of energy.

After the cap and gown pictures it was time for the whole family. We moved the kids around and finally had a few picture moments. Then we put kids with dad and he was like monkey bars for the kids. Great dad smiling through it all.

The kids made the show next. Talk about energy. It was a fun time and I believe they enjoyed the jumping photos more than anything.

I enrolled the kids to help get a couple pictures of just mom and dad. I’m not really sure what they were doing behind me while I was taking the pictures, but it worked. The parents were smiling the whole time.

We took a few more of the entire family and then called it an afternoon. As the parents said the “pictures were finished”, the kids ran for the trees. Ran for the trees to climb. I wish I had energy like they did.

It was a fun afternoon. I hope I have a chance to take more family pictures of this family. They certainly are a great family.
